Aspen, Colorado
March 27th - April 3rd, 2004
All in all, the trip was excellent. The conditions could have been better. At the start of the week, fresh snow had fallen and the terrain was great. Toward the end, several days of very warm temperatures turned the lower portions of the hills into mush. As long as you stayed high though, you were fine.
High points of the week were the accomodations at the Gant, the food both cooked in and eaten out, and the moguls lesson we all took at Aspen Highlands. Low points were the travel. American Airlines provided us with a comedy of errors in both directions and it's unlikely I will make any effort to fly with them again.
